Ryan and I met through a mutual therapist back in 2019. We became quick friends, Ryan developed a crush that was not quite reciprocated until about 4 years later. We remained best friends for years and could never seem to stay away from each other. When I temporarily relocated to Florida, he started to visit me almost regularly. That is when our friendship started to blossom into something more. I moved back from Florida to Knoxville and moved in with him and the four kids (I had already had a relationship with the kids, but not as their father’s significant other up until this point). Ryan and I put a label on our relationship in 2023. We have lived together ever since and got engaged while in Jamaica Dec. 9th 2025. Ryan and I have a 16 year age gap which posed some hurdles over the years but it has been well worth it and I am truly marrying my best friend and closest confidant. Ryan always says we are fated, but I avoid the cheesy-ness of saying that.
